- Led Indian Team to Bangladesh for Joint River Commission meeting at Dhaka and Joint observation on river Ganges at Hardinge bridge, Bangladesh during March 2014
- Attended week long World Water Week organized by Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) at Stockholm, Sweden during August 2018.
- Visited Spain as a member of High Level Delegation from MoWR, RD & GR for Exchanging Experiences on Water Resources Planning and Management during 17-22 February 2019
- Visited Khatmandu as a member of Team of Experts from MoWR, RD & GR for discussions on implementation of Pancheshwar Multipurpose Project during 26 February 2019 to 01 March 2019
Details of Experience:
- Survey, investigation and preparation of DPR of Multipurpose Projects.
- Hydrological Observations and Flood Forecasting
- Monitoring & Techno-economic appraisal of Water Resources Development Projects.
- Inter-State issues related to Bansagar Dam and coordination with the States of MP, UP and Bihar in early execution of the project and thereafter sharing cost & benefits from the Project amongst the States of MP, UP and Bihar as per Bansagar Agreement of 1973.
- Overall coordination & management of water resources of inter-State Narmada river basin amongst the States of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan for ensuring compliance of NWDT award. Monitoring of Inter-State Projects, namely, Sardar Sarovar Project, Gujarat; Indira Sagar Project, Madhya Pradesh and preparation of Annual Water Account of Narmada River Basin
- Operation of Farakka Barrage as per India- Bangladesh Treaty on Sharing of Ganga Waters of 1996. Overall supervision of Operation and Maintenance of Main Farakka Barrage, Head Regulator, Jangipur Barrage, Kalindri Lock Gate / Regulator, Maintenance and Protective measures of Feeder canal (38.38 Km. in length).
- Regulation of water resources of Godavari and Krishna basins and resolution of conflicts between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States
- Construction of Polavaram Irrigation Project through Government of AP.
- Monitoring of storage position of major reservoirs in the country and issue of Drought Advisory to States based on status of reservoirs storage as and when required.
- Implementation of PMKSY, National Projects and other centrally funded projects.
- Conflict resolution on various Inter-State issues and Inter-National issues relating to WRD Projects.
