Software Resources
CWC being a knowledge driven and professionally managed organization always envisaged targeted expertise development and support to Dam Safety Organizations at central (CDSO) to become competent organizations that can take the lead in ensuring that dams remain safe from a structural and operational point of view. Capacity building of officials across different directorates in CWC is critical to assist with the development of appropriate skills and modern tools for adequately designing and analyzing dams, tunnels, carven and other pertinent structures.
Currently under the Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP 2.0), as a part of institutional strengthening procurement for various design and analysis software are under progress from supplies like (Geo-Studio, RoC Science, Plaxis, FLAC and Bently for Staad-Pro etc.) for addressing the complex Structural, geotechnical and rock mechanics scenarios. The lists of softwares procured from M/s RoC Science by Dam Safety Organisation of CWC are listed with brief details of their application. All the softwares comes along with a integrated training program for user development, in this regard officials may send their interest for participation in training to smdte@nic.in or dsrdte@nic.in for incorporation of their name
