Monitoring and Appraisal Directorate, CWC, Ranchi office is entrusted with the following works-

• Appraisal of DPR of Medium irrigation project of the state of Bihar and Jharkhand.
• Examination/Scrutiny/ Recommendation of release of Central Assistance Proposal from Jharkhand State as per latest AIBP-PMKSY guideline of MoWR, RD & GR.
• Examination/Scrutiny/ Recommendation of proposal for release of Central Assistance of Jharkhand State in respect of Renovation, Repair, Restoration (RRR) of Water Bodies and Minor Irrigation schemes under PMKSY guideline of MoWR, RD & GR.
• Examination/Scrutiny/ Recommendation of Proposals in respect of Command Area Development and Water Management (CADWM) Irrigation Project of Jharkhand State.
• Preparation of reports of projects related to PMKSY based on field visits of projects/ schemes in Jharkhand.
• Works related to CAD Cell for Irrigation Projects of Jharkhand State.
