Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY)
Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme (AIBP)
After launch of PMKSY in 2015-16, AIBP became a part of PMKSY. Since its inception, 297 Irrigation / Multi-Purpose Projects have been included for funding under AIBP.
Under this scheme, presently 26 projects of Maharashtra State are in progress. Out of those 26 projects, 3 projects are dealt by the NTBO, Vadodara. Remaining 23 projects are being monitored by Monitoring Directorate, MCO, CWC, Nagpur during the year 2019-20. The details of cost of AIBP components, expenditure incurred, CA eligible, CA released, irrigation potential created are given in the statement.
Monitoring Directorate is looking after works of examination of DPRs in respect of CADWM proposals also. Out of 23 projects under PMKSY-AIBP, 4 projects do not require CADWM works. Out of balance 19 projects, DPRs of 19 projects have been approved by DoWR, RD & GR, New Delhi.
